About me
Sara Thomson develops access programs as well as oversees accessibility across all programming and departments at the New York Transit Museum. She is inspired by her 9 years of assisting children with disabilities in the classroom to create welcoming, supportive community experiences. Sara served on the steering committee of the Museum, Arts and Culture Access Consortium and leads trainings for other organizations. She holds a MA in museum studies and a BA in history.
