About me
Maureen O’Connor is the Education Specialist in the Reckoning with Our Racial Past Initiative. For over a decade, she has designed and facilitated interdisciplinary programs for K12 students, educators, and museum professionals at various state and national museums. In addition to her public-facing work, she also serves on the Smithsonian’s Community Activation Team, a pan-institutional committee supporting employee professional development. Maureen will serve as a co-facilitator, synthesizing needs to create educational materials from the session.
