MAAM 2026 Annual Conference

Kimaada Le Gendre is Chief Learning Officer at the Queens Museum and Director of The Suna Children’s Museum, where she leads the Museum’s education, youth, family, adult, school, accessibility, and public engagement initiatives. Her work focuses on advancing inclusive, community-centered museum practices through collaborative program design, cross-departmental leadership, and culturally sustaining approaches to learning. An author and doctoral candidate in education, Le Gendre is committed to creating museum experiences that foster belonging, representation, and meaningful participation for visitors of all ages and abilities.
