Patty Arteaga is the Public Programs Manager for the Smithsonian’s Reckoning with Our Racial Past initiative, where she collaborates with external museums to explore the legacies of race and racism. She leads the National Conversations on Race series, using museum objects and programs as platforms for dialogue. Previously, she served as Project Lead Manager for the Center for Restorative History at the National Museum of American History, integrating public history with restorative justice practices.
