About me
Jody Brumage is an archivist and public historian with a passion for connecting residents and visitors to the Frederick County, Maryland, area with the region's rich and diverse past. He currently manages the Frederick County Archives and Research Center, helping researchers engage with the vast archival resources of Heritage Frederick, and collaborating with the museum staff and volunteers to incorporate these resources into exhibitions, public tours, publications, and lectures. Jody also serves as President of the South Mountain Heritage Society, a small, all-volunteer museum located in Burkittsville, Maryland.
