About me
Andie Townsend (they/them) is the Assistant Director of Programs and Operations at The Peale, Baltimore's Community Museum. As the program coordinator, they support local artists, curators, collectives, and organizers in creating and presenting a wide range of exhibitions and events. In addition to managing The Peale's platform spaces, they have helped grow and facilitate two cohorts of The Guild, The Peale's apprenticeship program for historic trades. Andie holds a BA in Art History and Anthropology from the University of Delaware. They led the installation of The Active Power of Touch and are working with The Peale team to make the museum a more accessible, multisensory space.
